Your App Store,from ChatGPT

Ask ChatGPT to translate your subtitle into Japanese and it writes the translation. MetaRun reads your live listing, checks Apple's 30-character limit, and puts the before and after on a card. Nothing reaches App Store Connect until you press Apply, and ChatGPT can't press it for you.

01 · Execution
  1. 01

Try it before you sign in

Worldwide pricing, the storefront language audit and the AI visibility check run without an account, on any app on the App Store. Point them at a competitor if you like.

  2. 02

Connect once and pick what it may do

When ChatGPT needs your own apps it sends you to MetaRun to sign in. You choose read-only or 'prepare changes you approve'. ChatGPT gets a MetaRun token that expires every hour; your App Store Connect key stays encrypted on MetaRun.

  3. 03

    ChatGPT writes, MetaRun checks

ChatGPT does the writing and translating. MetaRun reads the live listing, holds every field to Apple's limits, and builds one card for every language you touched instead of one per field.

  4. 04

    Only you press Apply

The approval behind the Apply button is sealed to that exact change and never shown to the model. Press it and the change lands in your history with an undo; ignore it and nothing happens.

What MetaRun does inside ChatGPT

MetaRun connects to ChatGPT as a plugin over the open MCP Apps standard. ChatGPT gets a curated set of MetaRun tools: reading your listing in every language, your versions, builds, reviews and prices, MetaRun's pricing engine and keyword rank checks, and previews for listing, price, review-reply and release changes. The results show up as cards in the conversation.

The split of work is deliberate. ChatGPT is good at writing and translating copy and at explaining an App Review rejection in plain words. MetaRun is good at the parts that have to be exactly right: Apple's character limits, the live state of your listing, real price points for 175 storefronts, and a history you can undo.

Why changes wait for your click

An assistant that can edit your store reads text strangers wrote: one-star reviews, rival listings, forum threads. If any of that text could talk the model into applying a change, the plugin would be a liability. So the model can only prepare a change. The card gets a short-lived approval ticket bound to you, your workspace and that exact edit, and only the card's Apply button can present it.

If the store changes between the preview and your click, MetaRun refuses the stale change and the card offers a fresh preview. Submitting a version to App Review also needs a ticked acknowledgment on the card.

Three checks that need no account

Give ChatGPT a base price and MetaRun prices every App Store storefront by purchasing power, the Big Mac index or Spotify's price ladder, snapped to Apple's real price points and compared with a plain currency conversion. Name any app and MetaRun reads 25 storefronts to find listings shown in a language people there can't read.

The AI visibility check asks a search-grounded answer engine three questions people ask about the app's category, then reports whether the app was named or recommended, who was recommended instead, and which sites the answers cited.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a ChatGPT plugin for App Store Connect?

MetaRun has one. Until it appears in ChatGPT's plugin directory, add it as a custom plugin: turn on developer mode in ChatGPT's settings, open chatgpt.com/plugins, press + and enter https://metarun.dev/api/chatgpt/mcp with OAuth.

Does ChatGPT see my App Store Connect API key?

No. The key stays encrypted on MetaRun's servers and is used there. ChatGPT holds a MetaRun token that expires every hour, is useless anywhere except MetaRun's ChatGPT endpoint, and dies the moment you disconnect.

Can ChatGPT change my App Store listing without asking me?

No. ChatGPT can only prepare a change, which appears as a card with the before and after. The change applies when you press Apply on that card, and the model has no way to press it.

What works without a MetaRun account?

Worldwide pricing for any base price, the storefront language audit, and the AI visibility check, on any app on the App Store. Reading or changing your own apps needs a MetaRun account with App Store Connect connected.

Can it submit my app for review?

Yes, when you ask and nothing blocks it. MetaRun first runs its readiness sweep (build, export compliance, App Privacy, required fields in every language) and lists what blocks. Submit appears on the card only when the version is ready, behind a checkbox you tick yourself.

How do I disconnect MetaRun from ChatGPT?

In MetaRun, open Settings, then MCP, and press Disconnect next to ChatGPT under Connected assistants. Its tokens stop working on the next call. You can also remove the plugin from ChatGPT's own settings.
