Operators

Who MetaRun is for

People who ship iOS apps and would rather not spend release day clicking through App Store Connect.

Indie iOS developers

You write the code and you also do the release: build notes, What's New in twelve languages, screenshots, prices, review replies. Hand those to the agent you already use and approve what it prepares.

Studios running a fleet

MetaRun started as the internal tool of Hysa Tech, a studio with six apps live in 195+ countries. Switch between apps, reprice in bulk, and keep one change history across all of them.

Teams and agencies

Invite teammates with access to specific apps and specific areas, from replying to reviews to shipping releases. Each person connects their own agent with their own sign-in.

Agent uplink

Run App Store Connect from the AI agent you already use

Every agent gets the same 300 tools through one hosted server, with a browser sign-in instead of a pasted key. Pick yours.

Via Claude Code

Ship the release from the terminal session where you wrote the code. Claude Code reads your changelog; MetaRun stages What's New in every language.

$ claude mcp add --transport http metarun https://metarun.dev/api/mcp

> Write What's New for 2.4 from CHANGELOG.md and stage it in every language.

● 12 previews staged, one per language. Approve to apply.

Set up Claude Code

Via Codex

One codex mcp add and a browser sign-in. The CLI, the IDE extension and Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app all get the same tools.

$ codex mcp add metarun --url https://metarun.dev/api/mcp

> Is build 312 processed? Attach it to version 2.4 and run the readiness check.

● Attached after your approval. Readiness: no blockers.

Set up Codex

Via Cursor

App Store work next to the code: product ids from your StoreKit file, release notes from the changelog you have open.

> @Configuration.storekit Create the products that don't exist in App Store Connect yet.

● 3 previews: Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, Lifetime. Product ids checked for duplicates.

Set up Cursor

Via Xcode

An Xcode 27 agent plug-in for Claude Agent, Codex and Gemini in the coding assistant. Xcode builds the release; MetaRun ships it.

$ github.com/metarun/metarun-skills

> I just uploaded build 312 from Organizer. Attach it to 2.4 once it's processed.

Set up Xcode

Via Claude

A custom connector that works on the web, in Claude Desktop, on your phone and in Cowork. Ask about your store in plain words.

YouWhat's blocking my next release?

ClaudeTwo things. No build is attached to 2.4, and Japanese is missing What's New.

Set up Claude

Via ChatGPT

The MetaRun app for ChatGPT. Translations and prices arrive as a card with the before and after, and only you can press Apply.

Set up ChatGPT

Via Gemini CLI

Add the server with gemini mcp add, or install the MetaRun extension, then sign in once in your browser.

Containment

Nothing reaches Apple until you approve it

An agent with your App Store account sounds risky, so MetaRun is built so that it can't act alone.

A preview before every write

Every change comes back first as the before and after, with a confirm token. The apply refuses if anything changed in App Store Connect in between.

The agent asks you first

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Xcode and Claude ask before they run a change. In ChatGPT and in MILO you press the button yourself.

Your Apple key stays with MetaRun

You upload the App Store Connect key once. It's envelope-encrypted and decrypted per request; agents only hold an hourly MetaRun token you can disconnect.

Every change is on the record

Applied changes land in your change history with where they came from, and most can be reverted from there in one step.

Frequently asked questions

What is MetaRun?

MetaRun is the agentic App Store Connect platform for iOS developers. You, MILO (MetaRun's built-in operator) or an AI agent such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Xcode, Claude or ChatGPT can ship releases, translate listings, price 175 storefronts, manage subscriptions and reply to reviews. Every change is previewed before it reaches Apple.

Can AI agents like Claude Code or ChatGPT manage App Store Connect?

Yes, through MetaRun. Coding agents and Claude connect to MetaRun's MCP server with a browser sign-in and get its full tool set; ChatGPT connects through the MetaRun app for ChatGPT, which is in review with OpenAI as of October 2026. The agent prepares the change, and you approve it.

Which AI agents work with MetaRun?

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Xcode 27's coding assistant (Claude Agent, Codex and Gemini), Claude on the web, Desktop, mobile and Cowork, Gemini CLI, VS Code, ChatGPT, and any other client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP. Each one has a setup guide on metarun.dev/agents.

Does the agent see my App Store Connect API key?

No. The key is uploaded once to MetaRun and stays envelope-encrypted on its servers. Agents sign in to MetaRun and hold an hourly token that you can disconnect in Settings.

Can an agent submit my app or change prices without asking me?

Not through MetaRun's design. Every change is a preview first, the apply needs that preview's confirm token, and submitting for review also needs an explicit acknowledge. The agent asks you before it runs the apply unless you have allowed that tool.

What is MILO?

MILO is the AI operator built into MetaRun. You talk or type to it in the Command Deck, it prepares changes with the same tools agents use, and nothing applies until you press ENGAGE.

Do I need to run an MCP server on my machine?

No. MetaRun's MCP server is hosted at metarun.dev/api/mcp, so there's nothing to install and no .p8 key on disk. Open-source App Store Connect MCP servers run locally with your key next to the agent; MetaRun keeps it server-side.

How much does MetaRun cost?

Starter is $15 a month, Pro $39 and Studio $99, with two months free on annual billing. Agent access is on Pro and Studio and in the 14-day free trial, which needs no credit card.

Is this the MetaRun running shoe or the Metarun game?

No. MetaRun (metarun.dev) is a platform for managing App Store Connect, made by Hysa Tech; it is not the ASICS METARUN running line or the Metarun blockchain game. It's built for iOS developers who sell on the App Store.

Does MetaRun support Google Play?

Not yet. MetaRun works with Apple's App Store today; Google Play support is planned.
