Common questions

ChatGPT says no App Store Connect key is connected. What do I do?
Your MetaRun account doesn't have an App Store Connect API key yet. Sign in to MetaRun, open Settings, then Platforms, and upload the .p8 key there. Never paste a key into ChatGPT or any chat: MetaRun only accepts it on its own settings page, where it is encrypted before it is stored.
The Apply button on a ChatGPT card says the store changed. Why?
Something in App Store Connect changed between the preview and your click, so MetaRun refused to apply a change you never saw. Press Preview again on the card (or ask ChatGPT to preview it again) and apply the fresh version.
ChatGPT says my MetaRun connection is read-only. How do I let it prepare changes?
Reconnect MetaRun from ChatGPT and leave 'Prepare changes you approve' switched on at the consent screen. Changes still only apply when you press Apply on a card. If you are a team member, the workspace owner also has to give you write access to the Agent access area.
How do I disconnect ChatGPT from MetaRun?
In MetaRun, open Settings, then MCP, and press Disconnect next to ChatGPT under Connected assistants. Its access stops on its next call.
A field is locked and MetaRun won't change it. Is that a bug?
Usually not. Apple only lets you change the name, subtitle and description while a version is being prepared; promotional text can change any time. The card or the error names which surface is locked and why.
